CRS Resident Fellow Section Elections for 2012–2013
The elections for CRS RFS 2012–2013 officers will be held at the Thursday, March 15, 2012, CRS meeting in order to allow time for the new CRS RFS Executive Board to organize during the final meeting of the year, which is Thursday, April 19, 2012.
Absentee votes will also be accepted the week prior to (from Thursday,March 8 to Thursday March 15, 2012) the March 15 in-person elections. The absentee voting will be conducted on-line, with detailed instructions forthcoming. Radiology, nuclear medicine and radiation oncology residents and fellows from the Chicago area who have formally signed into at least one CRS meeting during the 2011–2012 CRS season prior to the March meeting are eligible to vote, either by absentee ballot or in-person. Each name will be correlated with meeting attendance. Cross check measures will be taken to prevent double voting (absentee and in person).
In order to be eligible to run for office, candidates must have attended
at least two CRS meetings during the 2011–2012 season, up to but not
including the March 15, 2012 meeting. They must also be a current
officer or a RFS delegate or alternate delegate in order to run for an
office.
Nominations will be accepted (either in person or email to current CRS RFS President Patrick Alore, patrickalore@gmail.com or current CRS RFS Vice-President/President-elect Dan Jeong dan.jeong@gmail.com ) from now through 5:00 PM Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, including at the February 16 meeting. Self-nominations are acceptable. The candidates will be given a chance (optional) to submit a written statement (Submit in person or by email to Patrick or Dan by 5:00 PM Thursday, Feb. 23, meeting. The election results will be made available at the end of the March 15 meeting.
